PROJECT BRIEF AND APPROACH

The Circuit is a kit of gamified stations that students in grades 8-10 use as a learning tool. The lesson involves students moving from station to station (like a fitness circuit) learning about different aspects of sexual and physical health, as well as healthy relationships. It was important to ensure that the overall design was engaging, approachable, inclusive and accessible to students.

I focused on establishing consistent design elements to ensure that all documents within each station felt cohesive, and that all stations felt cohesive as a whole kit. It was also important that these design elements were flexible enough to accommodate future additional stations.

“I hired Cheryl to design The Circuit, a comprehensive sexual health education program for secondary students. She was an absolute gem to work with. She is professional, clear, and timely with all her deliveries. It was a joy to see her digest my vision to visually create a Comprehensive Sexual Health Education Curriculum and transform it into a beautiful and cohesive package. I really appreciated how she guided the design process with leadership and ease. I felt taken care of and was confident that she would create a final product that would be eye catching and engaging for students. I cannot wait to work with Cheryl again. I will continue to hire her for future projects. Any business would be lucky to work with her.”
